Operations at KCP Ltd's Thiruvottiyur Heavy Engineering Unit disrupted

The KCP Ltd has announced that operations at its Heavy Engineering Unit, located at Thiruvottiyur, Chennai 600019 have been disrupted since 4th December 2023 due to severe Cyclone Michaung.

The Company is taking adequate steps to ensure resumption of operations of the plant at the earliest.

The loss is covered under Insurance Policy and the Insurer has been intimated about the loss. The loss amount shall be ascertained after survey.

Shares of KCP Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 144.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 147.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 32678 in over 813 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 146.95 and intraday low of 142.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4732926.00.
