Infotech Aerospace Services opens a new facility

Infotech Enterprises Ltd has announced that Infotech Aerospace Services, a joint venture between the Company and Pratt & Whitney, has opened a second facility in northwestern Puerto Rico and plans to hire 100 new employees.

Speaking on the occasion Rita Peralta, President and General Manager of Infotech Aerospace said, "The 22,000 Square foot (2,044-Square meter) are meter facility in Isabela will help Infotech Aerospace meet demand for its engineering work and for United Technologies was investing US$ 7.3 million (Euro 5.7 million) in Infotech Aerospace to create the new jobs, for mainly engineers and draftsmen, which will increase the work force of Infotech Aerospace to 500"

The Company will recruit Puerto Ricans for the positions, allowing the "intellectual talent to remain in the island, contributing to economic development" Gov. Niball Acevedo Vila said in a statement.
