Asarfi Hospital Ltd to participate in RFP process for 100 beds District Hospital at Dhanbad

The Board of directors of Asarfi Hospital Ltd have approved the participation in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process issued by the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand for operation and augmentation of the existing 100-bedded District Hospital at Dhanbad, Jharkhand into a Medical College under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework with an annual intake capacity of at least 100 MBBS students.

Approval for Furnishing Bid Security

The Board approved furnishing of a refundable Bid Security amounting to Rs. 3.52 Crores in connection with submission of the bid.

The Bid Security may be furnished in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Insurance Security Bond, as recommended by the Management and in accordance with the conditions specified in the tender document.

The Bid Security amount shall remain valid / committed for a period of up to 180 days from the bid due date or such other period as prescribed under the RFP conditions.

The above approval is only for participation in the bidding process and shall not be construed as award of the project.

Shares of Asarfi Hospital Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 228.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 212.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 46000 in over 42 trades.
