Dynamic Cables Reports Solid Q1 FY27 Performance: Net Profit Up 37% to ₹24.95 Crore

Dynamic Cables Limited, a Jaipur-based leading manufacturer of power cables and conductors, has announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The company demonstrated robust operational growth, with net profit rising by 37.0% year-on-year to reach ₹24.95 crore, driven by strong top-line momentum and expanded operating margins.

Q1 FY27 Financial Performance Highlights

Revenue from Operations: Clambered 33.2% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹349.10 crore (₹34,910.11 lakh), compared to ₹262.04 crore (₹26,203.53 lakh) recorded in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, revenue grew 2.3% from the ₹341.18 crore (₹34,118.34 lakh) reported in Q4 FY26.

Total Income: Reached ₹350.28 crore (₹35,028.45 lakh) for the quarter, which included ₹1.18 crore in other income. Total income expanded from ₹264.77 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹356.42 crore in Q4 FY26.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Surged 37.3% YoY to ₹33.46 crore (₹3,346.22 lakh), up from ₹24.37 crore (₹2,436.66 lakh) in Q1 FY26 and ₹32.31 crore (₹3,230.99 lakh) in the preceding quarter.

Profit After Tax (PAT): Soared 37.0% YoY to ₹24.95 crore (₹2,495.27 lakh), compared to ₹18.21 crore (₹1,820.71 lakh) in Q1 FY26 and ₹24.17 crore (₹2,417.14 lakh) in Q4 FY26.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter expanded to ₹5.15 per share (face value ₹10), up from ₹3.76 in Q1 FY26 and ₹4.99 in Q4 FY26.

Expense Analysis

Total expenditure for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹316.82 crore (₹31,682.23 lakh), compared to ₹240.40 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹324.11 crore in Q4 FY26.

Cost of Materials Consumed: Stood at ₹313.45 crore, compared to ₹233.30 crore in Q1 FY26.

Changes in Inventories: Worked out to a credit of ₹32.05 crore, reflecting inventory absorption against an expense of ₹2.13 crore in Q1 FY26.

Employee Benefits Expense: Increased to ₹13.78 crore from ₹10.02 crore in Q1 FY26.

Finance Costs: Stood at ₹2.86 crore, compared to ₹2.66 crore in Q1 FY26.

Depreciation & Amortisation: Amounted to ₹2.86 crore, up from ₹2.65 crore in Q1 FY26.

Other Expenses: Totaled ₹15.93 crore compared to ₹13.83 crore in Q1 FY26.

Total tax expenses for the quarter were ₹8.51 crore, comprising current tax of ₹8.77 crore and a deferred tax credit of ₹0.26 crore. Total Comprehensive Income for the period reached ₹24.64 crore after accounting for other comprehensive loss items net of tax.

Capital Structure & Preferential Issue Utilization

As of June 30, 2026, Dynamic Cables' paid-up equity share capital remained stable at ₹48.46 crore (4,84,58,600 equity shares of face value ₹10 each).

The company disclosed an update regarding the funds raised via a preferential issue of equity shares in June 2024:

Total Funds Raised: ₹96.59 crore (₹9,658.79 lakh).

Utilized Amount: ₹91.51 crore (₹9,151.03 lakh) was utilized as per issue objectives (including advances) up to June 30, 2026.

Unutilized Surplus: The remaining balance of ₹5.08 crore (₹507.76 lakh) stands temporarily invested in liquid Mutual Funds pending final deployment.

Shares of Dynamic Cables Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 387.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 393.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 38555 in over 920 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 394.00 and intraday low of 377.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 14798620.00.
