Venus Remedies Limited has announced its consolidated unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). Driven by sustained expansion across its pharmaceutical manufacturing and export operations, the company registered a 139.27% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit to ₹22.97 crore.

Key Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27 vs Q1 FY26)

Revenue from Operations: Advanced 30.38% YoY to ₹178.86 crore compared to ₹137.18 crore in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, operational revenue dropped 31.05% from ₹259.40 crore in Q4 FY26 due to quarterly supply timing.

Total Income: Increased 29.08% YoY to ₹181.48 crore against ₹140.59 crore in Q1 FY26.

EBITDA: Climbed 95.80% YoY to ₹36.81 crore compared to ₹18.80 crore in Q1 FY26 (down sequentially from ₹68.37 crore in Q4 FY26).

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Surged 138.41% YoY to ₹30.04 crore from ₹12.60 crore in Q1 FY26.

Net Profit After Tax (PAT): Reached ₹22.97 crore, marking a sharp 139.27% YoY growth compared to ₹9.60 crore in Q1 FY26 (down from ₹47.49 crore in Q4 FY26).

Total Comprehensive Income: Expanded 141.67% YoY to ₹28.88 crore against ₹11.95 crore in Q1 FY26, boosted by positive foreign exchange and other comprehensive gains of ₹5.91 crore.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS (face value ₹10 per share, un-annualised) jumped to ₹17.18 compared to ₹7.18 in Q1 FY26 and ₹35.53 in Q4 FY26.

Expense Analysis

Total expenses for Q1 FY27 grew 18.32% YoY to ₹151.44 crore compared to ₹127.99 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, trailing revenue growth and enhancing operating margins:

Cost of Materials Consumed: Rose 16.56% YoY to ₹83.14 crore compared to ₹71.33 crore in Q1 FY26.

Purchase of Stock-in-Trade: Stood at ₹1.12 crore against ₹2.27 crore in Q1 FY26.

Employee Benefits Expense: Came in at ₹23.37 crore, up 15.07% YoY from ₹20.31 crore in Q1 FY26.

Selling, Manufacturing & Administrative Expenses: Totaled ₹32.35 crore, up 38.54% YoY from ₹23.35 crore in Q1 FY26.

Research & Development Expenses: Advanced 17.04% YoY to ₹4.67 crore compared to ₹3.99 crore in Q1 FY26.

Depreciation & Amortisation Expense: Stood at ₹6.77 crore compared to ₹6.18 crore in Q1 FY26.

Finance Costs: Remained minimal at ₹0.00 crore (less than ₹1 lakh), consistent with prior periods.

Capital & Reserves Position

Tax Expenses: Total tax provision for the quarter came in at ₹7.07 crore (comprising ₹8.20 crore in current tax and a deferred tax credit of ₹1.13 crore).

Paid-Up Equity Share Capital: Stood unchanged at ₹13.37 crore (consisting of equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each).

Other Equity: Reserves stood at ₹650.38 crore as per the audited balance sheet for the full year ended March 31, 2026.
