D P Abhushan Ltd approves franchisee owned jewellery showroom at Jabalpur

The Board of Directors of D. P. Abhushan Limited has approved the proposal for opening a jewellery showroom at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, under the Franchisee Owned Company Operated Model.

The proposed showroom, having an approximate retail area of 3,750 square feet, will mark the Company's first expansion through the Franchisee Owned Company Operated model (FOCO), representing a significant milestone in its retail growth and business expansion strategy. The Company believes that the adoption of the franchisee model will facilitate expansion into new markets through an asset-light approach, strengthen its brand presence, and enhance customer outreach.

The proposed showroom is expected to offer the Company's range of jewellery products in accordance with the Company's prescribed standards, branding guidelines, and quality specifications, thereby ensuring a consistent customer experience across its retail network.

The expected date of commencement of operations are presently under finalisation and shall be implemented in due course.

Shares of D. P. Abhushan Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1334.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1326.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2286 in over 140 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1341.90 and intraday low of 1295.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3023453.00.
