Navkar Corporation Net Profit Skyrockets 401.9% YoY to ₹12.28 Crore in Q1 FY27

Logistics and infrastructure service provider Navkar Corporation Limited (NSE: NAVKARCORP; BSE: 539332) has announced its standalone unaudited financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27). The company recorded a stellar multi-fold expansion in its bottom-line earnings, catalyzed by robust volume growth in logistics operations and higher operational efficiency.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company's net profit skyrocketed by 401.9% year-on-year to reach ₹1,228.13 lakh (₹12.28 crore), up from ₹244.71 lakh recorded during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q1 FY26). On a sequential basis, net profit experienced a marginal consolidation from the ₹1,398.15 lakh posted in the preceding quarter ended March 31, 2026.

Strong Operational Traction Drives Revenue Beyond ₹190 Crore

Navkar Corporation sustained healthy top-line momentum, highlighting increased capacity utilization across its Inland Container Depots (ICDs) and logistics hubs:

Revenue from Operations: Top-line operational revenue jumped 37.8% to ₹19,074.51 lakh (₹190.75 crore) in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹13,845.78 lakh in the identical window of the prior fiscal year.

Total Income: Factoring in other income of ₹155.31 lakh (up from ₹57.54 lakh in Q1 FY26), aggregate revenue climbed to ₹19,229.82 lakh against ₹13,903.32 lakh year-on-year.

Operating Efficiencies Cushion Bottom-Line Expansion

Total expenditure for the quarter checked in at ₹17,587.94 lakh, up from ₹13,523.24 lakh in Q1 FY26. However, the growth in expenses remained lower than the pace of revenue gains, enhancing operational margins:

Operating Expenses: The primary operational fulfillment baseline stood at ₹13,774.66 lakh against ₹9,951.54 lakh in the year-ago period.

Employee Overheads: Employee benefits expenses rose moderately to ₹1,353.52 lakh compared to ₹1,213.91 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Finance Costs & Capital Depreciations: Finance expenses dropped down to ₹322.81 lakh from ₹386.85 lakh year-on-year, showcasing improved debt management. Depreciation and amortization charges stood at ₹1,504.22 lakh against ₹1,335.46 lakh.

Other Expenses: General administrative and miscellaneous outlays remained highly flat at ₹632.73 lakh against ₹635.48 lakh in the year-ago base quarter.

Profit before tax (PBT) grew dramatically by 332.0% to ₹1,641.88 lakh as against ₹380.08 lakh in Q1 FY26. Total tax outgo for the period was determined entirely via deferred tax provisioning at ₹413.75 lakh, while current tax outlays stood at nil.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Reflecting the company's strong earning capacity, basic and diluted EPS (non-annualized) scaled up to ₹0.82 for Q1 FY27, up significantly from ₹0.16 in Q1 FY26, though lower than the ₹0.93 logged in Q4 FY26.

Capital Base: The paid-up equity share capital of the company remained constant at ₹15,051.92 lakh (consisting of equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each).

Shares of Navkar Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 104.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 116.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 460186 in over 3137 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 119.00 and intraday low of 98.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 49518949.00.
