DGTR recommends imposition of anti-dumping duty on TPU based PPF from China

Based on the Company's application on behalf of domestic industry, Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited has received, today, June 16, 2026, the Final Findings dated June 12, 2026 from Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, regarding Anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of "Thermoplastic Polyurethane ("TPU") based surface/Paint Protection Film" originating in or exported from People's Republic of China.

The said investigation has been concluded, and the Authority has recommended "imposition of anti-dumping duty equal to the lesser of margin of dumping and the margin of injury, so as to remove the injury to the domestic industry".

The Company, being a manufacturer of TPU based PPF, will likely to get benefited from the said Final Findings.

The final Notification is yet to be received from Central Government.

Shares of GARWARE POLYESTER LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 6383.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 6328.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4745 in over 1145 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 6448.05 and intraday low of 6149.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 30022548.00.
