Grasim Industries Ltd inaugurates CPVC Resin Plant at Vilayat, Gujarat in collaboration with Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Pvt Ltd

Grasim Industries Limited had earlier announced regarding execution of Agreements with Lubrizol Manufacturing India Private Ltd for production of Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) resin in India and construction of the first phase of the world's largest single-site state-of-the-art 100,000 metric tonne CPVC resin facility in Vilayat, Gujarat, respectively.

With regard to the above, the Phase 1 of the CPVC Resin manufacturing Plant with planned capacity of approximately 50,000 metric tonnes per annum has been inaugurated today. The commencement of the commercial production at this Plant, will happen in due course.

Shares of Grasim Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3160.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3105.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 24356 in over 1752 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3178.65 and intraday low of 3132.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 76729766.00.
