Pioneer Distilleries clarifies on news regarding land bank

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Pioneer gains on land bank value", Pioneer Distilleries Ltd has clarified that:

1. The Company is proposing to set up a 5 MW power project front Biogas, which is a bi-product generated in the factory.

2. The Company has already intimated to Stock Exchange regarding the expansion of plant capacity from 50 KLPD to 100 KLPD, and commencement of commercial production from expansion.

3. The Company owns around 300 Acres of land which is being used for Agricultural purpose where treated effluent is used for cultivation.

4. The Company is setting up an additional effluent treatment plant that is evaporator to become a zero discharge of effluent in the future.
