Sobha Developers Q1 net profit up at Rs.40.8 Crores

Sobha Developers Ltd has announced the following Audited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 408 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 169 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2057 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 2692 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.5.6 for the Quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.8.35 for Quarter ending March 31, 2007.

The stock was trading at Rs.805.65, down by Rs.7.10 or 0.87%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.829 and low of Rs.796.25. The total traded quantity was 69405 compared to 2 week average of 26047.
