Dena Bank signs MOU with Staragri

Dena Bank has signed an MoU with Star Agri Warehousing and Collateral Management Limited (Staragri) on June 15, 2012 for rendering Collateral Management & Service under bank's scheme for providing finance to farmers / traders / processors / arthiyas etc. against pledge of warehouse receipt issued by "Staragri".

Dena Bank will provide short term loans to farmers against the security of pledge of warehouse receipts issued by Staragri covering storage of agricultural commodities.

The MoU was signed in a function held at Mumbai by Mr.R K Gupta, General Manager (PS&RRB), Dena Bank and Mr. Amit Khandelwal, Director, Staragri.

The Dena Bank stock closed the day at Rs.99.15, up by Rs.2.65 or 2.75%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.99.55 and low of Rs.96.95.

The total traded quantity was 3.22 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 4.44 lakhs.
