Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, India's fastestgrowing mid-scale and premium hotel chain, today announced the signing of a new hotel in Akola, Maharashtra, further consolidating its presence in one of India's most economically active states. With this addition, the company now has 28 hotels in Maharashtra, comprising 15 operational properties and 13 in the pipeline, including this signing.
The hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
Situated in the Vidarbha region, Akola is a key commercial and agricultural centre, widely recognised for its cotton production and strong trading ecosystem. The city continues to witness steady regional development, supported by infrastructure growth and expanding business activity, positioning it as an important node in Central India's economic landscape.
Under the brand of Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Akola will offer 55 wellappointed rooms, a restaurant, banquet hall and conference room, along with recreational amenities including a fitness centre, swimming pool and spa. The hotel is located approximately 265 km from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and 4.4 km from Akola Junction railway station, ensuring accessibility for corporate travellers, trade visitors and regional transit demand.
