TCS assessed at Level 5 enterprise-wide in software Services and Development

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been assessed enterprise-wide, at the highest maturity Level 5 of the Capability Maturity Model® Integration for CMMI®-DEV (Development) and CMMI®-SVC (Services) models.

With this achievement, TCS sets a new benchmark as the first publicly stated recipient to achieve a Multiple Simultaneous Appraisal against two constellations of the CMMI® model. TCS is also the first organization in the world, to be appraised at Level 5 of the CMMI®-SVC model, which underscores the maturity of the firm's fast growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Infrastructure Services business.

TCS' Integrated Full Service strategy has enabled an appraisal across service lines while the enterprise-wide appraisal has validated the firm's commitment and ability to provide 'One Global Service Standard' to its clients using its unique Global Network Delivery Model (GNDMâ„¢).

This appraisal demonstrates TCS' strong commitment towards delivery excellence, process maturity and service quality, ensuring an experience of certainty for its customers; and will serve as a significant contributor to TCS' success in its business sustainability journey.

There is industry evidence that process improvement using the CMMI® Product Suite results in improvements in schedule and cost performance, product quality, return on investment, and other measures of performance outcome. TCS process performance results have amply demonstrated the same.

The stock was trading at Rs.1072.05, up by Rs.0.10 or 0.01%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1080.60 and low of Rs.1064.10.

The total traded quantity was 0.74 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.96 lakhs.
