KEC International Ltd has announced that the Company has received new orders worth Rs 1500 million from International and Domestic markets. With these orders, the Company´s order book has reached to a record level of Rs 30,000 million.
GRTE, the power transmission division of Algerian utility company Sonelgaz has placed an order with the Company worth Rs 700 million (11.5 million euros) for supply and construction of 400 KV single circuit transmission line over 52 kms from Ain Sefra to Mougrar.
The Company has also secured a contract of Rs 220 million in Abudhabi for a 220 KV transmission line of 12 kms from Mirfa to Ruwaison on turnkey basis.
West Bengal State Electricity Board has awarded the Company an order worth Rs 583 million. Scope of work for this order includes supply and construction of 3 lines of 132 KV D/C each around Haldia.
