Airfloa Rail Technology Bags Orders Worth ₹107.42 Lakhs from Eastern Railway for Vande Bharat Express Components

Rail equipment manufacturer Airfloa Rail Technology Limited (formerly known as Airflow Equipments India Pvt Ltd) has bagged multiple new domestic purchase orders with an aggregate value of ₹107.42 lakhs from the Indian Railways.
The company announced that the work orders were received electronically on July 28, 2026, from the Office of the Deputy Chief Materials Manager, Eastern Railway, Liluah, Howrah.
Order Details & Scope of Supply
The fresh orders encompass six distinct contracts primarily focused on supplying seat components and assemblies for Vande Bharat (VB) Train Sets. All individual contracts are to be executed within a strict timeframe of 45 days.
Gas Springs for VB Train Set Economic Seats: Value of ₹22.63 lakhs.
Snack Tables for VB Train Set Economic Seats: Value of ₹22.33 lakhs.
Foot Rests for VB Train Set Economic Seats: Value of ₹19.19 lakhs.
Single Seat Cushion Assembly Complete for VB Train Set Economic Seats: Value of ₹18.37 lakhs.
Arm Rests for VB Train Set Economic Seats: Value of ₹15.29 lakhs.
Executive Revolving 2-Seater Complete Seats for VB Train Sets: Value of ₹9.61 lakhs.
Contractual Framework & Terms
All six orders are domestic in nature and fall under the standard commercial terms governing Indian Railways procurements:
Governing Terms: Subject to the latest edition of the Indian Railways Standard Conditions of Contract and the General Conditions of Contract for the Stores Department of Eastern Railway.
Inspection Protocol: Material inspection will be conducted by the consignee at the destination against the Works Test Certificate and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Guaranty Certificate.
Payment Terms: 100% payment will be released upon receipt, inspection, and formal acceptance of materials by the consignee at the destination. For select contracts, part supply and part payment arrangements have been permitted.
