Educational contents provider and stationery manufacturer Navneet Education Limited has announced its unaudited standalone financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company posted a net profit of ₹148 crore for Q1 FY27, backed by strong seasonal demand across its Publishing Content and Stationery Products businesses.

Revenue & Income Highlights

Revenue from Operations: Stood at ₹785 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to ₹792 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q1 FY26). Sequentially, operational revenue almost doubled from ₹394 crore in Q4 FY26, reflecting strong seasonality in educational publishing.

Other Income: Came in at ₹5 crore, compared to ₹8 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹6 crore in Q4 FY26.

Total Income: Totaled ₹790 crore for Q1 FY27, down marginally from ₹800 crore in Q1 FY26, but up significantly from ₹400 crore in the sequential quarter ended March 31, 2026.

Profitability & Margins

Profit Before Exceptional Items & Tax: Stood at ₹186 crore for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹216 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹21 crore in Q4 FY26.

Exceptional Items: The company recorded ₹14 crore in exceptional income (net) for the quarter, compared to ₹8 crore in Q4 FY26 and nil in Q1 FY26.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Came in at ₹200 crore, compared to ₹216 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹29 crore in Q4 FY26.

Net Profit After Tax (PAT): Reached ₹148 crore, against ₹161 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹25 crore in Q4 FY26.

Total Tax Expense: Totaled ₹52 crore for the quarter, comprising ₹53 crore in current tax and a deferred tax credit of ₹(1) crore.

Total Comprehensive Income: Net of other comprehensive income adjustments, total comprehensive income reached ₹158 crore, matching the ₹158 crore recorded in Q1 FY26.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter came in at ₹6.73 per equity share of face value ₹2 each (unannualised), compared to ₹7.26 in Q1 FY26 and ₹1.14 in Q4 FY26.

Segment Revenue: ₹380 crore (vs ₹372 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹282 crore in Q4 FY26)

Segment Result (EBIT): ₹38 crore (vs ₹59 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹20 crore in Q4 FY26)

Segment Assets: ₹772 crore as of June 30, 2026 (vs ₹880 crore as of March 31, 2026)
