Makara Capital Partners Pte. Ltd proposes to invest Rs. 2200 crores in Srei Equipment Finance Limited

The Strategic Coordination Committee of Srei Equipment Finance Limited has received a Term Sheet from Makara Capital Partners Pte. Ltd. (Makara), Singapore indicating interest for investment of an aggregate amount of INR 2,200 crores by way of subscription to equity shares and other securities of the Company subject to the terms and conditions contained in the said Term Sheet. The Strategic Coordination Committee, chaired by an Independent Director, will evaluate the said offer and make the recommendation to the Board of the Company.

Shares of SREI INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.14.49 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 13.18. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4594838 in over 5557 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 14.49 and intraday low of 11.87. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 62381852.
