NTPC-SAIL Power Company Ltd commissions 5 MW solar power project

NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL), a joint venture company of NTPC Limited, vide its e-mail dated 16th February 2026, has intimated the Company regarding the declaration of Commercial Operation Date (COD) of an additional capacity of 5 MW (out of the total 15 MW capacity) of its Maroda Reservoir-I Solar Power Project at Bhilai during the month of January 2026.

With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC group will become 87,809 MW and 86,729 MW, respectively.

Shares of NTPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 369.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 362.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 689957 in over 14177 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 369.60 and intraday low of 361.90. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 253988405.00.
