Saurashtra Cement Limited completes acquisition of paint business from Snowcem

The Board of Directors of Saurashtra Cement Limited had at its meeting held on 30th March 2021 approved to take over the paint business of Snowcem Paints Private Limited on slump sale basis and as a going concern.

The company has, accordingly, completed the acquisition of the Paint business of "Snowcem Paints Private Limited". The operations has commenced under "Saurashtra Cement Limited - Paint Division" with effect from 1st May 2021.

Shares of SAURASHTRA CEMENT LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.62.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 61.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 67957 in over 445 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 64.85 and intraday low of 61.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4302736.
