Muthoot Finance Limited board approves fund raising of Rs. 6000 crores

The Board of Directors of Muthoot Finance Limited at their meeting held today at the registered office of the Company has considered and approved fund raising to the tune of Rs. 6,000 Crores by way of private placement of Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) to be issued in one or more tranches as may be decided by the Board of Directors or a committee thereof from time to time.

The NCDs are proposed to be listed in BSE or NSE, as may be decided by the Board of Directors or Committee thereof.

Shares of MUTHOOT FINANCE LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1292.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1322.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 41899 in over 2005 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1337.9 and intraday low of 1285.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 54826920.
