Wonderla Holidays Ltd. Launches 'Wonder Kitchen' in Kochi

India's leading amusement park and hospitality Brand, Wonderla Holidays Limited launched their new takeaway and home delivery experience under the brand name "Wonder Kitchen" at Kakkanad, near to Sunrise Hospital, just 8 km away from Wonderla Amusement Park. The outlet was inaugurated by Shri. Kochouseph Chittilappilly, Founder - Wonderla Holidays Ltd., and Smt. Sheela Kochouseph, Managing Director - V-Star in the presence of Shri. George Joseph, Joint Managing Director - Wonderla Holidays Ltd., and Ms. Anjali Nair, Independent Director - Wonderla Holidays Ltd.

Wonder Kitchen is a multi-cuisine outlet serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Wonder Kitchen - Kakkanad is third outlet in the chain of takeaway outlets launched by Wonderla with the first 2 outlets operating successfully in Bangalore at Kengeri & RR Nagar. The Start-up has associated with Swiggy and Zomato for online orders and home delivery. The outlet will operate from 11.30 am to 9 pm and will do FREE home delivery within 5 km radius of the outlet.

Shri. Kochouseph Chittilappilly, Founder of Wonderla Holidays Ltd., said, "Our Parks and Resort chains have been affected across the locations due to this turmoil. In these difficult times, we decided to step into this new business initiative with the support of our experienced staff. Today, everyone is health-conscious and there is an ever-growing demand for safe and hygienic food, without having to give up on the taste and excitement of food."

George Joseph, Joint Managing Director of Wonderla Holidays Ltd, said, "The Covid-19 crisis has changed the world completely in the last few months and all of us have been locked down in our homes. Economic activity has come to a near standstill and everyone has been impacted. In this pandemic situation, we have decided to come up with a new business idea of cloud kitchen and we are serving fresh and exciting new tastes as per the safety protocols. The first 2 outlets have been well received by the customers and we will be opening more outlets in the coming months at various locations" he added.

Shares of Wonderla Holidays Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.184.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 184.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7486 in over 187 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 188 and intraday low of 182.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1402580.
