Prism Cement Ltd's JV completes expansion project

Spectrum Johnson Tiles Pvt. Ltd. ('Spectrum'), a step-down joint venture of Prism Cement Ltd, has successfully completed the expansion of 3 million m2 (MSM) per annum large format Glazed Vitrified Tiles capacity at its Matel plant, Morbi. The plant has capability to produce large format GVT i.e. 120cm*120cm, 120cm*180cm and 120cm*240cm amongst others. The commercial production has commenced from March 14, 2018.

The overall capacity of H & R Johnson (India), a Division of Prism Cement Limited, along-with its joint ventures and subsidiaries would stand at over 68 MSM per annum.

Shares of PRISM CEMENT LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.111.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 115.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 67013 in over 696 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 116.25 and intraday low of 111.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7581745.
