Maharashtra Minister for State - Ram Shinde unveils wax model of Mustafa Barzani

Sunil's Celebrity wax museum unveiled its new wax model of Mustafa Barzani (Revolutionary leader of Kurdistan - Iraq) at Trident Hotel, Nariman Point. The wax model was unveiled by Hon'ble Maharashtra minister for state - Ram Shinde.

Mr Sunil Kandalloor, the sculptor & Managing Director of Sunil's Celebrity Wax Museum made this wax model as per the request made by the Kurdish Government. Many top officials from Iraq also participated in this event. Mr Sunil Kandalloor is a self taught wax model sculptor as wax modelling is not a syllabus in any institutions in India and also no artists in India are able to do wax modeling.

Mustafa Barzani was a Kurdish nationalist leader and the most prominent political leader in modern Kurdish politics. In 1946, he was chosen as the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to lead the Kurdish revolution against Iraqi regimes. Barzani was the primary political and military leader of the Kurdish revolution until his death in March 1979. He led campaigns of armed struggle against both the Iraqi and Iranian governments.

In 2010, Mr. Sunil Kandalloor opened an International Wax Musuem in Lonavla, Pune, which houses 60 Wax Models of National and International personalities. Within a short span of time (3 years) Sunil's Celebrity Wax museum has become one of the main tourist destinations of Maharashtra and from all over India. It has an average footfall of three thousand per day. Some of his notable works include wax models of Mother Teresa, Kapil Dev, Narendra Modi, Anna Hazare, Sharad Pawar, Prabhu Deva and many others.
