POGO is on a nationwide spree to make children fit and healthy like their favorite superhero Chhota Bheem. From 03 August 2015, the channel launched its annual School Contact Program (SCP) called 'Bheem ka Fitness Formula' across 9 cities in India.
Through the SCP, kids will learn about the importance of physical and mental exercises during their daily lives and how this will help them stay sharp and fit. To make the session entertaining for kids, the concepts will be communicated through games and quizzes based on popular POGO characters like Chhota Bheem, Mighty Raju, Tom and Jerry, Mr. Bean and many more.
Over the duration of 2 months, the SCP will reach out to over 5 lakh students (between standards 1 to 8) in approximately 550 schools across 9 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Amritsar and Pune.
In Delhi, POGO will cover 100 schools and engage approximately with 1,00,000 students. To add to the excitement, Chhota Bheem made a surprise visit at Jain Happy School in Shivaji Stadium and entertained kids with a special performance. Children were thrilled to see their favourite toon star and were eager to learn overall fitness tips from Bheem himself.
Children in other parts of the country can also be a part of all the action. All they have to do is tune-in to the new episodes of 'Chhota Bheem' every Sunday 9:30 AM and watch out for the healthy tips given by Bheem.
POGO's 'Bheem ka Fitness Formula' SCP is presented by Glucon-D Volt and co-powered by Jungle Magic Hand Sanitiz with associate sponsors Fru Juicy Jelly, Act-II Popcorn and Honda.
