Azva collaborates with Suneet Varma to unveil exquisite jewellery ensembles in gold

Azva bridal gold jewellery by World Gold Council has collaborated with one of India's foremost couturiers, Suneet Varma to create exquisite showstopper pieces in 22Kt gold. Suneet, who has always showcased his passion for gold brilliantly in the past through his ethereal bridal designs and styling, has created exclusive showstopper jewellery pieces for Azva. The showstopper jewellery ensemble is inspired by the brands core concept of the seven vows, an integral Indian wedding ritual. Azva unveiled these one of a kind showstopper pieces at the Suneet Varma Show in Delhi on 20th September 2014. As part of the show, Azva's also presented its bridal collection that was seen complementing Suneet's creations and the theme of the Art Deco.

The Azva showstopper pieces create a line of lavish ornaments in gold jewellery that were presented in a very fashionable and grand manner. These pieces are contemporary in design and were beautifully styled with Suneet's garments to adapt the art-deco concept of his show, showcasing the versatility of Azva as a brand. The show stopper jewellery pieces include an exquisite statement necklace, beautiful chandelier earrings and uniquely handcrafted bangles. Creating an extraordinary and unique line for the first time, the showstopper pieces highlight 14 strings of pearls, elaborate rings, a modern interpretation of the traditional haath phool, an extremely gorgeous hair brooch and baju bandhs. The design style in this unique amalgamation is a 'Fusion' of various elements like Azva's concept of the seven vows, traditional forms of craftsmanship and techniques from Gujarat and the Art deco theme chosen by Suneet Varma.

These Azva showstopper jewellery designs are perfectly relevant to brides who have a keen eye for design and fine craftsmanship. The jewellery has been created using extensive fine filigree, granulation, repoussage work along with handcrafted sculpted textured sheet work, geometric forms and fine drapery. Azva's concept of seven has been integrated beautifully in the product design element with seven stylized flower motifs, seven petals and seven drops in the necklace design. A statement jewellery piece with seven strings wrapping around the shoulders has been exclusively manufactured to present gold in its most grandeur fashion.

Commenting on Azva's collaboration with Suneet Varma, Mr. Vipin Sharma, Director, Jewellery, World Gold Council said, "We are thrilled to work with Suneet Varma for his beautifully inspired show and to create showstopper jewellery for Azva in 22Kt gold.
