Satyug Darshan Trust Inaugurates World's First School of Equanimity and Even-Sightedness

Satyug Darshan Trust inaugurated world's first ever School of Equanimity and Even-Sightedness at its main campus, Satyug Darshan Vasundhra, Faridabad. Considered to be the source of liberating humanity from its present degenerated condition, people from all over India and abroad witnessed the awe inspiring spectacle. The School purposes to acquaint human race with the morals and ethics of 'Satyug' - the golden era and mould them accordingly, so that they could muster courage to personify their real self through their thoughts, actions and speech. The curriculum of this school aims to impart spiritual knowledge without any restrictions based on caste, colour, creed, age, gender etc.

The auspicious inauguration of Dhyan Kaksh commenced with 'Anhad Sangeet' performed by a symphony orchestra consisting over 100 artists and flower showering from helicopter to welcome the attendees. A breath taking cultural programme then captivated the attendees with over 1000 artists from all over nation giving classical, folk and contemporary dance performances. To provide an introduction to the School, the history of 'Equanimity and Even-sighted' was expounded with an impressive laser show, 3D mapping and sand animation thereby spurring the audience.

Then the Chief Mentor of Trust Shri Sajan ji welcomed the audience to the inaugural ceremony and congratulated them on the 65th Republic Day. He explained the importance of 26th January in the history of Trust as well. He heralded the retreat of Kalyug, the era that symbolizes ignorance, and the advent of Satyug, the era of truth. Elucidating the need to prepare for the approaching Satyug, as forecasted by all the Holy Scriptures, he humbly requested everyone to adopt the skill of 'Equanimity and Even-Sightedness' which is the foundation of the constitution of 'Satyug'.

Elaborating further he mentioned about the virtues - contentment, endurance, truthfulness, and righteousness that were possessed by the beings of 'Satyug'. These very virtues helped them to remain in an equanimous state in all situations of life. Realizing the omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence of God, he becomes even-sighted.

Talking about the present time, he said that we don't accept world as a fallacy and are naïve that living at the edge of Kalyug have forgot that we are not distinct from the Almighty. Having lost the knowledge of our true being we are engrossed in worldly affairs which cause our mind to never be at peace. To uplift oneself from this habit he stressed on the importance of equanimity and even-sightedness inviting the entire human race to join this school and consequently becoming noble persons.

He concluded by asking everyone to have enough courage to give up their ignorance and contemptible vices thereby adopting contentment and endurance to selflessly progress on the path of truthfulness and righteousness for becoming benevolent. The ceremony came to a spectacular close with a pyrotechnics display that took the already joyful and celebratory atmosphere to a new height. "It was a unique and marvelous experience", exclaimed a spellbound attendee. He was in awe of the extravagant performances and was extremely keen to join the school.

According to a Trust delegate over 20000 persons has attended the ceremony. A number of buses between various sectors in Faridabad and the campus provided free transportation for all the attendees. Free boarding and lodging was provided for everyone. Medical facilities were also available to those in need.

For information of all, the classes for the School of Equanimity and Even-Sightedness will commence on 8th April, 2014 on the same day as Ramnavmi, while it will be open to visitors starting from 4th February, 2014. The visiting hours will be 10 AM to 5 PM in the summers and 11 am to 4 pm in winters. Along with the opening of the school, a guide to the 'School of Equanimity and Even-Sightedness' was also released.
