Breast Cancer accounts for 25% - 31% of all cancers in women*. For this very reason – Avon Foundation for Women in association with OutCancer Foundation have come together to host first ever Breast Cancer Detection Camps for Avon Representatives, their families and friends. Hosted in International Oncology Cancer Centre, Fortis Hospital, Noida the event is an important step to create awareness and early detection of the disease.
The series of camps kicking off with first one in International Oncology Cancer Centre, Fortis Hospital Noida, will travel PAN India reaching out to as many women as possible. The Free Breast Cancer Detection camp will include vital checkup of women and mammography if recommended by Cancer Specialist. Team of highly experienced doctors from International Oncology Cancer Centre will be present to help and consult Avon Representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ujjwal Mukhopadhyay said, "Avon believes that when women are empowered they can make their dreams a beautiful reality. This initiative in partnership with OutCancer Foundation will strengthen Avon's commitment to eradicate Breast Cancer and help change the lives of women."
