FLO Bombay Chapter organizes a soiree for Global Ambassadors to meet with the Women of Substance from Mumbai

FLO Bombay Chapter organized a soiree to welcome their distinguished guests, the Global Ambassadors, who have been brought to India by Vital Voices partnering with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The soiree saw high flying corporate honchos, artists and dignitaries mingle with Mumbai glitterati. They danced the garba and the bhangra and got a taste of the Indian tamasha!

FLO was pleased to welcome some of America's senior most corporate honchos, Donna Orender, Geraldine Laybourne of Nickelodeo, Oxygen Media, Susan Chambers ,Wal-Mart, Janie Wanless MD, Bank of America, Amanda Ellis of New Zealand Aid Programme, Virginia Littlejohn Of Quantum Leaps and Alyse Nelson President Vital Voices Global Partnership.

Also present on the occasion were Brinda Somaya, Kalpana Swaminathan, Mandakini Trivedi, Neeta Lulla, Devita Saraf, Shobha Jagtiyani, Chhaya Momaya, Kajol Menon, Neera Punj, Arti Sarin, Raell Padamsee, Dipali Goenka,Anita Arjun Das, Ashvini Yardi, Ila Arun, Renu Basu and Poorna Praful Patel amongst others.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Renu Kathuria, Chapter Chairperson FLO said, "we are delighted to welcome our special guests and introduce them to the crème de la crème of Mumbai women who showcase the the enormous variety of expertise that we have in India.

Vital Voices Global Partnership, founded by Hillary Clinton, is today one of the world's leading organisations that provides mentoring to women leaders globally.

The soiree will be followed by a Mentoring Walk in which emerging women leaders from Mumbai, shall walk with established leaders, both Indian and the Global Ambassadors to discuss their professional challenges and to establish a mentoring relationship.

This programme is held by Vital Voices on the same day in several countries across the world.

The mentoring walk will be held at 8 am on 20th October at Taj Lands End.
