Ansal Housing & Construction forfeits Outstanding Warrants

The Promoters of Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd have through their letter dated January 10, 2012 intimated the Company of their intention to forgo the outstanding 2,00,000 warrants out of 12,00,000 warrants allotted to them on October 30, 2010 @ Rs. 70/- per warrant.

The Company has accordingly decided to cancel the outstanding warrants and forfeit the application money being @25% of the value of warrants paid on these warrants in accordance with the terms of issue of these warrants and the guidelines governing Preferential Allotment of Warrants / Equity Shares.

The Ansal Housing & Construction stock was trading at Rs.36.50, up by Rs.1.20 or 3.40%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.37.85 and low of Rs.34.35.

The total traded quantity was 3207 compared to 2 week average of 2223.
