Zydus Wellness Q1 net profit up at Rs 7.65 crores

Zydus Wellness Ltd has announced the financial results for the quarter ended on June 30, 2010.

The Net Sales was at Rs.87.32 crores for quarter ended on June 30, 2010 against Rs.64.15 crores for the quarter ended on 30-June-2009. The Net Profit / (Loss) was at Rs.7.65 crores for the quarter ended on June 30, 2010 against Rs.5.02 crores for the quarter ended on 30-June-2009.

The company has reported an EPS of Rs.1.96 for the quarter ended on June 30, 2010 against Rs.1.28 for the quarter ended on 30-June-2009.

The stock closed the day at Rs.503.80, up by Rs.15 or 3.07%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.519.20 and low of Rs.491.05.

The total traded quantity was 1.64 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.30 lakhs.
