Ballarpur Industries announces Q2 results, sales at Rs.553.09 Crores and profit at Rs.62.15 Crores

Ballarpur Industries Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit after taxation of Rs 621.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 474.00 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) is Rs 5530.90 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 4383.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

Figures for the current quarter are not comparable with the correspond quarter, as current quarter figures include Impact of merger of APR Packaging Ltd. and Power business restructuring.
