NTPC to announce Q3 results on Jan 31, 2007, consider interim dividend

National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on January 31, 2007, inter alia, to approve and take on record the Unaudited Financial Results for the nine months period ended December 31, 2006 and unaudited quarterly Financial Results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 (Q3) as reviewed by the Audit Committee and also to consider declaration of interim dividend for the year 2006-2007.

Further, the Company has informed that, February 05, 2007 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend. The dividend if declard at the above Board Meeting, will be paid on or after February 12, 2007.
