Zandu Pharmaceutical clarifies on news item regarding plant in HP

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Zandu plans new unit in HP", Zandu Pharmaceutical Works Ltd has clarified to BSE that the Company is setting up a new unit at Uttaranchal and not at Himachal Pradesh as stated in news item at total cost of Rs 25 Crores.

In the Annual General Meeting held on August 26, 2005, Chairman had informed the members on setting up of new manufacturing unit at Uttaranchal.
