GV Films to Launch Web Casting division / TV Channel

GV Films Ltd has announced that the Company has proposed a launch program for the web casting division on January 19, 2007 at Chennai followed by further launch programs in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bombay, Trivandrum and Singapore.

Web casting division is expected to commercially exploit the huge library of about 6000 films for which the Company is holding Internet rights. The target audience for this will mainly be the 20 million Indian Diaspora spread world over.

Test runs have also been successfully completed for the Indian Market. The Present proposal of 2 mbs connectivity of Internet being made available by the telecom Companies to the Indian markets will open up further windows to this division.

The Tamil movie channel in Singapore (Tamil Box Office) with which the Company has entered into an joint venture agreement where the Company is a majority share holder will be on air on the January 26, 2007, giving 24 X 7 Tamil movies to the audience in Singapore.
