GV Films releases Thirudi, to consider acquisition of multiplex abroad

GV Films Ltd has announced that the Company which has produced successful Box Office movies has released a feature film "Thirudi" in Tamil on December 15, 2006 which has received rave reviews from Press and Media.

The Company has convened a Board Meeting on December 23, 2006, to consider acquiring Multiplex theatre in overseas and also to enter into an agreement with an overseas Company for its Webcasting Division.

The three main divisions of the Company viz. Film Production and Distribution, Film Exhibition through theatres and Multiplexes and a Web casting Division have different risk and reward relationships and growth opportunities. The Company has proposed to appoint an International Consultant for evaluation of various alternatives and suggest the most appropriate way to enhance value to shareholders and harness opportunity.

The Company has requested the firm to submit its proposals latest by 2nd week of January 2007, and the same will be placed before the Board immediately thereafter, for consideration.
