Bombay Burmah subsidiary AFCO acquires EAPL

Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Ltd has announced that AFCO Industrial & Chemicals Ltd (AFCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has made an acquisition of share capital of Electromags Automotive Products Pvt Ltd ("EAPL") with effect from December 01, 2006. AFCO is a subsidiary of the Company. Due to this acquisition, EAPL has become a subsidiary of AFCO and an indirect subsidiary of the Company.

EAPL is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 having its registered office at Kottivakkam, Chennai and is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of auto electrical components in the auto components sector.
