Radico Khaitan Updates on agreement with Diageo

With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 21, 2006 regarding the Company having entered into an agreement with Diageo, Radico Khaitan Ltd has announced that Diageo, the Company's Joint Venture Partner, has since received the FIPB approval for entering into a 50:50 Joint Venture with the Company. The first Board Meeting of the newly constituted Board of the Joint Venture Company, was held on December 06, 2006 and that the Joint Venture has since been formalized.
