Manufacturing operations at Century Textiles plant at Worli stagnant

Century Textiles & Industries Ltd has announced that in connection with the reduction in the manufacturing operations at the Company's Textile Mill at Worli, Mumbai in order to sustain viability on a reduced scale. As a sequel thereto, a Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) was introduced at our Textile Mill in Mumbai pursuant to which about 6300 number of workers and staff out of a total of about 6600, have opted for voluntary retirement.

Pursuant to the above the manufacturing operations at the Company's Textile Mill at Worli, Mumbai have become almost stagnant.
