Key Financial Highlights for Q1 FY27
Total Revenue from Operations: Stood at ₹1,476.77 crore (₹14,767.74 million) in Q1 FY27, registering a 22.0% YoY growth compared to ₹1,210.11 crore in Q1 FY26. Sale of products contributed ₹1,464.97 crore, with other operating revenue adding ₹11.80 crore. On a sequential basis, revenue remained virtually stable against ₹1,470.61 crore reported in Q4 FY26.
Total Income: Reached ₹1,479.04 crore (₹14,790.41 million) for the quarter, up 20.6% YoY from ₹1,226.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Other income for the period stood at ₹2.27 crore.
Profit Before Tax (PBT): Climbed 38.8% YoY to ₹240.40 crore (₹2,404.04 million) in Q1 FY27 from ₹173.19 crore (₹1,731.25 million, prior to exceptional items) in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, PBT saw a minor dip of 8.4% compared to ₹262.36 crore in Q4 FY26. No exceptional items were recorded during the quarter.
Net Profit (Profit After Tax): Surged 59.8% YoY to ₹179.96 crore (₹1,799.63 million) in Q1 FY27, up from ₹112.64 crore (₹1,126.36 million) in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, PAT moderated from ₹201.57 crore reported in Q4 FY26. Total tax expense for the quarter was ₹60.44 crore, comprising ₹46.58 crore in current tax and ₹13.86 crore in deferred tax.
Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹7.26 per equity share (face value ₹1/- each), compared to ₹4.64 in Q1 FY26 and ₹8.23 in Q4 FY26.
Total Comprehensive Income
Total Comprehensive Income for the quarter came in at ₹210.02 crore (₹2,100.24 million), representing a 59.5% YoY rise over ₹131.66 crore in Q1 FY26.
