Public sector construction major NBCC (India) Limited announced today that it has successfully bagged four distinct domestic work orders totalling approximately ₹85.64 crore (excluding GST). The regulatory intimation, filed under reference number NBCC/NSEBSE/2026-27, confirms that all orders were secured in the company's normal course of business as Project Management Consultancy (PMC) engagements.
Key Institutional Project Breakdowns
The largest order of the portfolio comes from National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), valued at ₹51.70 crore. Under this contract, NBCC will execute works on a Deposit Work cum EPC Mode. The scope involves constructing academic blocks for Delhi Public School (DPS), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) barracks, and related infrastructural facilities required to shift the DPS Senior Wing and the CISF colony within the Nalco Nagar Township premises.
The second-largest allocation is an industrial infrastructure contract awarded by Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IDPL). Valued at ₹26.01 crore, this domestic assignment requires NBCC to manage the construction of a comprehensive boundary wall at IDPL's land located in Blanagar, Hyderabad.
Cultural Heritage and Healthcare Engagements
In addition to industrial and institutional infrastructure, NBCC has bagged critical preservation and healthcare consultancy briefs across northern India:
Jallianwala Bagh Maintenance: The Archaeological Survey of India has appointed NBCC to handle annual maintenance and operation services at the historical Jallianwala Bagh Memorial in Amritsar, Punjab. This project holds an approximate value of ₹1.67 crore.
Geriatric Healthcare Infrastructure: Valued at ₹6.26 crore, Power Finance Corporation Limited has selected NBCC to act as the Project Management Agency (PMA) for the construction of the proposed Akal Geriatric Health Services & Research Centre. The medical facility will be developed at Baru Sahib within the Sirmaur District of Himachal Pradesh.
