RBI grants CoR to Piramal Finance Ltd to commence business of NBFC-ICC

The Reserve Bank of India under Section 45 IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, on 4th April, 2025, has granted a Certificate of Registration ('CoR') to Piramal Finance Limited ['PFL'] (Formerly known as Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, to commence its business of Non-banking Financial Institution-Investment and Credit Company ('NBFC-ICC') without accepting public deposits. With the receipt of the said CoR, PFL will stop conducting its business as a Housing Finance Company ('HFC') and has accordingly surrendered the HFC Certificate of Registration.

Shares of Piramal Enterprises Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 961.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1009.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 11327 in over 1090 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1002.95 and intraday low of 959.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 11052956.00.
