Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited (TMB) has officially announced a further expansion of its national footprint. The private sector lender disclosed the upcoming launch of two new bank branches. Both branches are scheduled to open simultaneously on May 29, 2026.
The upcoming locations target strategically vital semi-urban and commercial hubs across two states:
Sembanarkoil Branch (Tamil Nadu): Located at S.No.83-1, Thilagar Street, Sembanarkoil, Tharangampadi Taluk, within the Mayiladuthurai District (Pin: 609 309). This addition deepens TMB's already substantial rural and semi-urban retail network within its home state of Tamil Nadu.
Bhavnagar Branch (Gujarat): Located at G - 1, Ground Floor, C.S.No.1176/1, Plot No.3A, Map Sheet No.226, Ward No.7, Near Takhteshwar Taleti, Waghwadi Road, Bhavnagar (Pin: 364 001). This branch strengthens the bank's corporate and retail presence in Western India's prominent industrial and trade hubs.
With these launches, TMB continues its focused expansion strategy, aiming to bring its comprehensive banking solutions closer to emerging business centers and residential communities across India.
