NHPC signs MoU with Govt. of Rajasthan for Pumped Storage Projects and BESS

NHPC Limited has signed a MoU with Govt. of Rajasthan on 30.09.2024 for "Development of Pumped Storage Projects, Renewable Energy (Solar/ Floating Solar/ Wind) Projects and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the State of Rajasthan, with proposed estimated investment of Rs.50,000 Crores (approx.).

Govt. of Rajasthan will facilitate in getting necessary Permissions/ Clearances etc., from its relevant Departments as per the existing policy / rules / regulations of the state Government.

Shares of NHPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 94.93 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 95.27. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1375318 in over 9703 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 96.15 and intraday low of 94.41. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 130776847.00.
