Elango to retire as MD of Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Ltd, stock crashes

Mr. Pandarinathan Elango (DIN: 06475821), Managing Director of Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited, shall be retiring from his position of Managing Director with effect from the closure of the business hours on September 30, 2023, on completion of his current term.

Mr. Ramasamy Jeevanandam (DIN: 07046442) is appointed as the Managing Director of the Company with effect from October 01, 2023, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.

Mr. Vivek Rae (DIN: 01866765), is reappointed as the Independent Director of the company for the second term effective from April 18, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.

Shares of Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 207.50 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 237.50, down by Rs. 30 or 12.63%.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 210.20 and intraday low of 203.
