UltraTech Cement Ltd commissions new projects at Odisha, Chhattisgarh

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commissioning of:

- 1.30 mtpa brownfield cement capacity at Hirmi, Chhattisgarh;
- 2.80 mtpa greenfield grinding capacity at Cuttack, Odisha.

This forms part of the on-going capacity expansion. With this commissioning the Company's total cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands at 126.95 mtpa.

Shares of UltraTech Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 7169.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 7148.70. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2398 in over 705 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 7198.95 and intraday low of 7108.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 17145752.00.
