IRB InvIT Fund's SPV resumes Toll Collection after a period of one month

The IRB Pathankot Amritsar Toll Road Ltd., a Special Purpose Vehicle under the IRB InvIT Fund, has resumed the toll collection on both the toll plazas on Pathankot Amritsar BOT Asset with effect from 15th January 2023.

While commenting on the development, Spokesperson, IRB InvIT Fund said, "We are happy that the toll collection has resumed on both the toll plazas at Ladpalwan on Pathankot end and Waryamnangal on Amritsar end of the Asset after a forced suspension for the period of one month." He further said, "The losses suffered by SPV due to this are liable for compensation as per the provisions of Concession Agreement; we will initiate necessary action for the same with concerned authorities at an appropriate time."

To re-iterate, the SPV had to suspend toll collections for a period of one month, i.e. from 15th December 2022 due to farmers' agitation in the region.

Shares of IRB InvIT Fund was last trading in BSE at Rs. 65.72 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 65.67. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4940 in over 130 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 65.94 and intraday low of 65.60. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 324708.00.
