BEL signs MoU with AWEIL

Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has signed a MoU with Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL), a Defence PSU, to jointly address the requirements of Indian Defence and Export markets. The MoU aims at leveraging the complementary strengths and capabilities of BEL and AWEIL to address domestic and export opportunities in the areas of Air Defence, Artillery Gun Systems, Medium Caliber Weapons, Small Arms and related systems.

Mr Dinesh Kumar Batra, then CMD, BEL, and Mr Ravin Kulshrestha, Director (Finance), AWEIL, exchanged the MoU signed between BEL and AWEIL at Defexpo 2022, in the presence of Mr Bhanu Prakash Srivastava, Director (Other Units), Mr Manoj Jain, Director (R&D), and other senior officers of BEL and AWEIL.

Shares of Bharat Electronics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 108.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 107.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1497780 in over 12573 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 109.80 and intraday low of 107.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 162783978.00.
