Satia Industries Limited (SIL), one of the largest Wood and Agrobased paper manufacturers in India, has been adjudged for the 1st Prize for its outstanding efforts in the field of Energy Conservation in the State Level Energy Conservation Award Competition.
SIL participated in the State Level Energy Conservation Award Competition and was awarded the First position along with a cash award of Rs. 50,000/- for its efforts in the field of Energy conservation by adopting new technologies and process optimization during the years 2018-19 and 2019-20 organized by Punjab Energy Development Agency, Chandigarh under the Category of Energy Intensive Industries in Pulp and Paper sector.
Over the past few years, it has been a continuous effort in SIL by way of Energy Audits pinpointing processes and equipment consuming abnormally high energy, finding and implementing alternative solutions besides plugging waste and recovering heat to economize and reduce overall energy consumption per unit of production.
SIL's continuous efforts and investment in Energy Conservation has thankfully been recognized and awarded by the government. SIL remains committed to continuous endeavor and sincere efforts to conserve energy thus contributing to national mission to optimize energy consumption and produce economically too.
