Ashok Leyland Limited's June 2021 sales rises 169% YoY to 6448 units

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of June 2021. The company has reported 169% YoY increase in sales during June 2021 at 6448 units as against 2394 units in June 2020. Domestic sales was 174% higher in June 2021 at 5851 units as compared to 2132 units in June 2020.

LCV sales was up 125% YoY at 3684 units in June 2021 as against 1639 units in June 2020. Domestic LCV sales increased 124% YoY to 3487 units during June 2021, as compared to 1560 units in June 2020.

M&HCV sales increased 266% YoY to 2764 units in June 2021, as against 755 units in June 2020. M&HCV bus sales was up 146% YoY to 302 units in June 2021 as compared to 123 units in June 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 290% YoY at 2462 units, as against 632 units in June 2020.

Domestic M&HCV sales was up 313% YoY at 2364 units, as compared to 572 units in June 2020. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 309% to 2289 units in June 2021 as against 559 units in June 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 477% to 75 units in June 2021, as compared to 13 units in June 2020.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.122.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 122.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1782621 in over 6128 trades.
